Following pre-application consultation in October 2023, we submitted a hybrid planning application to Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC). The application includes around 1,600 homes, a primary school, sports pitches and landscaped public open spaces. A further in-person public consultation event was held on 22 March 2024.

We welcome comments on the application. RBC is undertaking a period of statutory consultation and you have the opportunity to submit comments to RBC before we amend our application.

Planning Background


Land north of Tollerton (redevelopment of Nottingham City Airport) is an allocated site for development within Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Local Plan, which was adopted in December 2014.

East of Gamston/North of Tollerton – SPD


Vistry Homes is engaging with Barwood Land and Taylor Wimpey and Nottinghamshire County Council, who control other parts of the wider strategic allocation.

Our Proposals


Vistry Homes’ is proposing a mixed-use new community that forms a well-connected and integrated part of the wider allocated site at Tollerton Airfield.
